The Sam4s Giant 100 is a very compact size thermal receipt printer. It is a giant in terms of advanced features yet small in terms of size. It has a fast printing speed for both text and graphics, an in-built auto-cutter and housed in smart, gloss-finish casing.
The Sam4s Giant 100 supports Epson and Star Micronics mode so is compatible with the majority of POS systems. With its robust design, it is suited to high volume use in busy environments.
COMPACT SIZE
It measures only 120(H) x 142(D) x 128(W)mm, making it one of the smallest 80mm receipt printers on the market. It will use minimal space on your counter, yet still accommodate a full 80mm diameter paper roll.
INTERFACE
The Sam4s Giant 100 printer is supplied as standard with a triple interface: USB, RS232 Serial and Ethernet (Wired), all included at the same price.
Setup is simple. In USB mode, simply install the required drivers. In RS232 mode, set the dip switches and make sure your printer port settings within your app are set to the same as the printer (baud rate, parity, stop bits etc). In Ethernet mode, use the Giant 100 Print Utility app to set the IP address.

If you require a USB printer cable or Ethernet CAT5 cable, these are available separately. Only a Serial cable is included in the printer box.

GIANT TOOL
The Giant Tool utility program, available as a free download, allows graphics and logos to be downloaded to the printer and allows various printer parameters to be programmed. For network setup on the Ethernet interface, it allows the IP address to be quickly and easily set.
BUZZER OPTION
An optional Buzzer with Flashing Light is available - see Options above. This connects to the Cash Drawer Port of the printer, and your POS software will need to send a signal character (ESC, 7) to the cash drawer port to trigger the buzzer when a receipt / ticket is printed.
