Product Information


Pax A920 Pro touchscreen terminal with eMerchantPay merchant account. Available to UK business customers only providing consumer goods/services and hospitality (food/drink) from a physical outlet.

Please allow around 2 weeks for your eMerchantPay merchant account application to be processed once you have sent in required documents. Your address must be a verifiable UK business address connected directly to you or your registered business (with a lease and utility bill in your name) with matching signage on the outside. We will not process merchant account applications for card terminals to a mailing/virtual address or residential address.

The card payment terminal is available to be purchased outright for £375+vat.

There is then an ongoing £4.50 per month (+vat) gateway fee to connect to the payment services network, plus the card transaction charges.

If you also add the OrderPad waiter app for use with our SamTouch POS systems, then the price includes POS software integration cost, which is done remotely via internet connection. (If a site visit is required, then additional fees will apply)

You will need to complete an Application for a new merchant account via ourselves with eMerchantPay, send required ID and business-related documents to them, and following acceptance, we will issue the payment terminal that has the appropriate software loaded onto it for stand-alone use or for integration with the POS system.

The Pax A920 Pro is a modern design touchscreen Android terminal, so you can run both the payment service and the optional OrderPad waiter app on the same machine. An optional counter-top bracket is available with tilt and swivel features. The Pro model has a faster processor and a larger screen than the standard Pax A920.

Note:
Your card machine contract will be directly with eMerchantPay on a rolling monthly basis after a minimum 1 year term. A monthly PC-compliance gateway fee to use the card payment network applies, currently £4.50 per machine per month. WiFi connectivity is standard, but for GPRS mobile use with a SIM card, an additional £2.50 per month fee applies. Card transaction fees are quoted without obligation on initial application. Payments are remitted by eMerchantPay to your UK business bank account next day for Mon-Thu transactions, and remitted each Monday for Fri-Sun transactions.
