Product Information


The SumUp Air device is a compact size card reader ideal for small shops, takeaways, cafes and restaurants.

You will need to purchase the card reader and sign up for a business merchant account with the card payment service provider at www.sumup.co.uk

The SumUp Air card payment machine connects to your POS devices using Bluetooth. It supports contactless, chip & pin, Applepay and other electronic payment methods.

Optional desktop cradle available - see Options above.


To set up the device for use with the LoyVerse app:
1. Install the SumUp app on your POS device (using Google PlayStore or the IMIN Store)
2. Power on the SumUp Air device and make sure it has a good charge. Swipe down for the settings menu, and under connection make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
3. In your LoyVerse back office enable SumUp as a payment type and then 'connect' to your SumUp account when prompted with your email and password.
4. In the LoyVerse POS app on your POS terminal, perform a test transaction and select 'SumUp' as the payment method, it will prompt you to login and synchronise with Bluetooth
5. When prompted to Pair, press the acknowledgment button
6. Complete payment with your credit/debit card to confirm it is working ok. (You can refund the transaction from the LoyVerse back office.)

If you have multiple POS devices then you can only connect one SumUp Air device to one terminal, so you will require a separate device for each POS terminal.

If you cannot download and install the SumUp app via the online store, you will need to manually download the APK installation file from a trusted SumUp resource and then install the app.
