Q-FOOD is a simple multimedia system for displaying the order number ready for collection in busy food and drink business. It is supplied with a large display monitor (choose 32" or 43"), a wireless numeric keypad to enter each order number, and a mini PC.

Q-FOOD is a stand-alone system that can be used alongside any POS system that produces order numbers or ticket numbers.

The layout of the large monitor screen allows waiting customers view the current order number and the 5 previously called orders. Each new call is emphasized in the center of the screen for a few seconds and then shown in the upper left corner of the screen.

The system also allows viewing of multimedia content including advertising text, images and videos. The screen layout is predefined and allows, by connecting to the Internet, viewing of additional web content such as date and time, live news feeds, weather information.

The call for the order number can take place via a wireless keypad (or optionally via a software app on Android devices). The system is also set up for voice calling the number.

The FOODBOX module can be connected via RJ45 Ethernet cable or in wi-fi mode for the cloud-based management software. The product is equipped with software for the management of the various functions and the programming of multimedia content.

Q-FODD Main Server Unit

This constitutes the central unit of the Q-FOOD system. Thanks to the power of the integrated octa-core processor it is able to manage the non-sequential user flow. In addition, the dedicated graphics processor (GPU) enables smooth playback of digital signage multimedia content such as images and videos, supporting numerous commonly used and non-commonly used formats.

QS-FOODBOX is also equipped with a speech synthesis engine in different languages that allows the reproduction of any text, from the progressive shift number to the vocal messages programmable at regular intervals.

Wireless remote pad for Q-FOOD

Operates via 2.4Ghz wireless RF interface. Enables the advancement of the number in different ways: forward (+), decrease (-), zero (DEL), change the current service, setting the duty chosen number. It comes in two colors, black or white. You can connect multiple QS-KEYPAD to the system to allow the advancement of numbering by more operators.

Android App for Q-FOOD (Optional)

An optional Android software app allows order numbers to be called via a smartphone or tablet device. NOTE: The use of this application requires the purchase of a license for each Android device on which it is installed.

32" LCD Monitor

The main display can be wall-mounted, ceiling suspended or fitted to a floor stand. You can install multiple monitors in different areas, bearing in mind that each of them will require its own Q-FOOD server box, but be synchronised with the main server box.
