The Safescan 2985-SC Banknote Value Counter & Sorter is an advanced professional cash processing machine designed to count, value count, verify and sort mixed banknotes quickly and accurately. Its intelligent dual-pocket design allows banknotes to be processed continuously while suspected notes and selected banknotes are automatically separated into the reject pocket.

The Safescan 2985-SC value counts mixed banknotes at speeds of up to 1,200 notes per minute and can automatically recognise and process up to three different currencies at the same time. It value counts, sorts and verifies its pre-installed currencies, while also allowing sorted banknotes from all currencies to be counted by quantity.

Modern UK polymer banknotes are supported, including both Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III series. High-resolution Double CIS scanning combined with up to ten security checks provides advanced counterfeit verification for professional cash-handling environments.

Mixed Banknote Value Counting

The Safescan 2985-SC automatically recognises and value counts mixed denominations from its pre-installed currencies. Different denominations can be placed together in the hopper, allowing the machine to calculate the total quantity and monetary value while providing a complete breakdown by currency and denomination.

Up to three different currencies can be value counted at the same time, helping reduce the need to manually separate mixed-currency cash before processing.

The intelligent dual-pocket design allows the Safescan 2985-SC to count and sort banknotes without unnecessary interruptions. Banknotes can be sorted according to currency, denomination, banknote version, orientation and facing direction.

Suspected counterfeit banknotes are automatically diverted into the 50-note reject pocket while accepted banknotes continue into the main stacker. This allows the counting process to continue without stopping whenever a suspicious note is detected.
