The Safescan 2210 is ideal for everyday cash-up tasks and accurately counts modern UK polymer banknotes, including both Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III series. Its automated functions, clear controls, and large display make routine banknote counting quick and straightforward.
Banknotes can be verified on up to three security features, including ultraviolet ink, size, and thickness. The level of detection depends on the security features available in the currency and denomination being counted. If a suspected or differently sized banknote is detected, the machine stops and provides an audio and visual alert so the note can be removed and checked before counting resumes.
The back-loading hopper accepts up to 150 banknotes per run, while the stacker holds up to 220 banknotes. Automatic start functionality begins counting when notes are inserted, helping speed up repetitive cash-counting tasks.
The Add function combines the number of notes counted across multiple runs, while the Batch function automatically pauses at a selected quantity so banknotes can be organised into equal bundles.
