Program is available as a download / email, optional data cable is despatched by post.

The ER-5200 PC programming utility provided with the Windows application software to upload/download data from your till, change PLUs, Groups, Receipt text, Vat Rates, System Options, Print Options and other settings.

Hardware Requirements:
You will require a 9-pin male RS232 serial port on your PC. You may be able to use a USB-to-Serial adapter, but see Note 1 below
Microsoft Windows (compatible version)
Note: In Windows 10, you may need to install and run the program in Compatibility Mode.

Please note:
1. If you use a USB-to-RS232-Serial adapter with our cable you will need to contact the manufacturer of the adapter for any technical support - we do not provide technical support on adapters purchased elsewhere.
2. You will need to check the ROM software version of your cash register as different editions of the program may be required.
3. These type of utilities are designed for Dealer use. If you are an end-user, you will require reasonable technical competence to setup and use the utility - we do not provide free technical support with the utility.
4. You cannot just use any serial cable with this utility, the cable will need to have the correct internal pin configuration for it to work. There are different types of serial cable such as Null Modem, Crossover, Two Wire, Serial Printer cable. Using the incorrect cable may even electrically damage your till or computer. We recommend you include our specially made Sam4s data cable with your program purchase to guarantee compatibility.
5. Shipping of the data cable is free in the UK Mainland only. Additional delivery charges will apply for addresses outside UK Mainland.
