Product Information

The Sharp XE-A307 is one of our most popular retail barcode scanning packages. It is the higher specification cash register from Sharp with a multi-line scrolling LCD Operator Display, a solid durable build and a dual printer. It supports upto 10,000 PLU's / Barcodes.

Our scanning package price includes the XL-Scan Laser Barcode Scanner with Stand for handsfree usage, with the option to upgrade to one of the heavy-duty Omni scanners - see Options above.

Scanner Differences:
The standard XL-Scan is a single line scanner, so it requires the barcode to be aligned exactly with the single laser line before it can scan. Whereas the XL2002 and Orbit are multi-line (16-20 laser lines) omni-directional scanners, sending out scan lines at different angles, distances and directions allowing you to scan with a wider range. If your shop is quiet usually and your customers only buy 1 or 2 items, then the XL-Scan is suitable. But if your shop is busy, customers buy multiple items or you often have several customers at once then we recommend choosing the XL-2002 or Orbit. The Honeywell Orbit is a high quality branded scanner with 5 years warranty, the XL-2002 is a lower-cost clone of the Orbit with 1 year warranty.

This high-capacity Sharp till supports upto 10,000 PLU's and has a 2-station 57mm width thermal printer for a customer receipt and journal copy. The Sharp XE-A307 is a robust build machine with a metal cash drawer designed for busy retail outlets that require a versatile, long-lasting machine. It is very popular with minimarkets, convenience stores and newsagents.

The LCD Operator Display shows the last 5 lines of PLU items in sales mode and upto 8 lines of data in reports mode. It can be titled to the desired angle. The rear popup customer display show the items registered with price, running total and change due.

4 tax rates, 99 departments (20 direct keys) and electronic journal that stores upto 9000 transaction lines for historic auditing.
