Product Information


CL-Works PRO, UK latest version 1.2.19.27527 (20221026). Compatible with Windows 8, 10 and 11 and the CAS CL series scales and the new CAS CN1 scale.

Program is available as a download / email. Setup Instructions are included as a PDF file and we provide remote support for upto 7 days for installing the program and setting up pc-to-scale communications. If you require additional operational training using the program, please add the Remote Training Service to your order.

CAS CL SERIES:
Suitable for CAS CL3500, CL5000, CL5000J, CL-5200, CL-5500D, CL7000, CT100.

CAS CN SERIES:
Suitable for CAS CN1.

CL-Works PRO is a Windows-based program that allows the CAS scale to be easily and quickly programmed. Using on-screen menus and screens on your computer or laptop you can add and amend PLU descriptions and prices. Depending on the features of your scale you can also manage ingredients text, allergens, traceability details such as country of origin, slaughter house, country of breeding etc, your logo and other graphical label content and store information, you can define Groups/Departments and other scale data, as well as assign PLU'S and functions to the hot keys.

With CL-Works PRO you can:

* Assign products & functions to the preset keys.

Note:

1. You will require a router to connect your computer and the CAS scale together. Your computer must have original Microsoft Windows (a current supported version) with WiFi or an RJ45 Ethernet port. CL Works Pro will not work on an Apple Mac with Windows emulator or other such layers. If you are using Windows 10 in S Mode you will need to switch off S mode for the CL Works Pro program to be installed. You must also have Administrator level access on your Windows computer. If you have a firewall, other security app or device that may interfere with the installation or operation of CL Works Pro you will need to disable it or use a different computer/network, we do not get involved in troubleshooting 3rd party products.

The CL and CN series scales connect to your PC/Laptop via your own Router. You will require a Cat5 Ethernet cable to connect the scale to your router. Your Router will require a spare RJ45 port. Note: The CAS scale will not connect with WiFi, only via a physical Ethernet cable.

2. Your CAS scale may require a PIN password number to be entered to access the scale's Communications Menu to set the IP addresses. The default password is provided with our set up instructions, otherwise you will require the password if it has been changed on your scale(s).

3. If you choose the optional remote training, then you will need to have internet access on your Windows PC/Laptop and download the TeamViewer remote access app for us to remotely connect to your computer. Both your PC/Laptop and the scale will need to be connected to your Router. Remote Training is for 1 person only in one continuous session upto the time duration purchased, Office / On-site training is 1 session for upto 3 people, upto 3 hours duration. Training is booked within our schedule and usually 3-5 working days advance notice is required.

4. The functions and capacities of the CL-Works Pro software cover multiple scale models, and may not all be available if your particular scale model does not support a particular feature. No refund applies if your scale is faulty, your network administrator has restricted access to devices or your default PIN number for the Comms menu has been changed and you do not know it.

5. The 7 days technical support commences from the date the download link is emailed to you. It only covers installation and setup, it does not cover operation of the software - you will need to purchase the training service or a support subscription if you require support using the program.

6. Remote support is provided for current supported Windows editions only with a factory standard configuration. If any 3rd party product on your device is suspected of interfering with installation or operation of the CL-Works Pro program we will not be involved in resolving that, you will need to remove that 3rd-party product or use a different device.
