Product Information


MX Business is Windows-based software to manage the Avery XS, XTi and XTs series scales, for remote programming and optional sales reporting. Also compatible with: XM100.

Price includes:

The license is a one-off outright purchase linked to one PC/laptop. The license may not be transferred.

The scales connect to your PC via your Ethernet router with a Cat5 Ethernet cable or with the optional WiFi adapter fitted to the scales. You will need to set an IP address prior to use (contact us for technical help).

With the MX Business software you can:-

* Add/Change PLU details and prices
* Edit/Create label layouts with text, graphics and logo
* Edit Departments
* Keyboard Design & print (XTs series)
* Touchscreen Buttons Design
* Bin/Container details editing
* Discount/Promotions editing
* Add/Edit graphic Media content (for displays and label content)
* Nutrients editor
* Pack Run editor
* Tax Rate editor
* Trace Scheme editor
* Export sales totals to Excel / CSV

Optional Modules:
* Sales Reports
* Upgrade to Pro version for multi-site management

Features depend on the capabilities of your scale model.

The Standard version allows you to manage multiple scales at the same premises. With the Professional version, you can manage multiple scales at different branches, with the ability to have different price lists and obtain sales reports (if you have purchased the Reports module) with a breakdown by branch.

1. The Avery MX Business software license cost from TecStore is for provision of the software and license only with remote installation. Usage training and a Support Subscription must be purchased separately if required. The hardware package-inclusive training must be booked within 60 days of scale delivery or will be forfeited. For initial install and any remote training session you will require an internet connection on your Windows computer, you will need Administrator level Windows login, and you will need to download/install the free version of TeamViewer QuickSupport app for remote access.

2. If you are using Windows 10 in S Mode you will need to switch off S mode for the MX program to be installed. MX Business software uses Microsoft SQL and is particular about the version. If you have other apps on your computer that also use Microsoft SQL but a conflicting version then you may need to use a different computer or uninstall those apps for MX Business to work. The same applies to any security software or network management app or device that may interfere with installation or operation of MX Business.
