Product Information


If your standard package includes the basic single-laser scanner then this Scanner Upgrade substitutes it for the more sophisticated Honeywell Orbit omni-directional barcode scanner.

With the Orbit scanner, it sends out multiple lasers at different angles and distances, so it is faster and easier to scan barcodes. Whereas on a single-line laser scanner, a single laser beam is emitted and that has to be carefully lined up with the barcode horizontally for it to scan.

If your store is regularly busy, your customer purchase multiple items and/or you have queues, then the Orbit scanner can make a tremendous difference to speed of transaction processing and customer satisfaction.

The standard model Honeywell Orbit is a wired scanner with a USB cable interface.
