Product Information

The CAS ER Retail Scale, also known as the ER JUNIOR, is a very popular low cost shop weighing scale that can be used either mains powered or battery operated.

The ER is easy to use, reliable and accurate in operation, with clear operator and customer displays and has a strong, durable build quality.

It is a UK Trade Approved, CLASS III scale as required by Trading Standards, with a green 'M' stamp. It can be used in fruit and veg shops, butchers, farm shops, fishmongers, delicatessen, convenience stores, minimarkets and similar businesses.

Choose from 3 available ER Series Models:
* ER Retail Scale 6kg
* ER Retail Scale 15kg
* ER Retail Scale 30kg

Standard models are with a stainless steel Flat Plate. (Scoop model not currently in stock).

DUAL DISPLAY
The ER Retail Scale has a large clear operator display and a rear integrated customer display, each showing the weight, price per kg/100g and calculated price.

EASY OPERATION
Simply type in the Price per Kg (or per 100g), place the item on the scale, and it will weigh and price the item. For your most popular weights, you can preset a price onto one of the 4 programmable memory keys, or maintain a list of PLU numbers with preset prices.

MAINS OR BATTERY OPERATION
The scale has both mains power and an internal battery. The inbuilt rechargeable battery typically lasts upto 120 hours on one charge (if backlight is not used).

OTHER FUNCTIONS
Includes a 'Zero' button to reset the scale, and a 'Tare' function to exclude the weight of empty containers / packs / bags.

MULTIPLE CAPACITY / READABILITY OPTIONS
Choose either the 6kg model with dual range (1g accuracy upto 3kg, 2g over 3kg), the 15kg with dual range (2g upto 6kg, 5g between 6kg and 15kg) or the 30kg model (5g upto 15kg, 10g between 15kg upto 30kg). The 6kg model is better suited if you sell low weight items like spices and powders. The 15kg model is the most popular with fruit & veg stores.

FLAT PLATE OR SCOOP
The shop scale is supplied with stainless steel flatplate as standard. You can optionally add a stainless scoop for Sweets or Fruit & Veg. See Options above.

You can optionally upgrade to the ER PLUS which has a larger platter size and PLU keys (for storing the price per kg of your most popular items). Choose 'Model' in the Options box above.

PLU's: 5 direct PLU keys and 200 Indirect PLU's

With the 5 direct PLU keys, you may have a particular item/price stored on each of the keys M1 to M5. Eg. M1 can be Bananas, M2 can be Apples, M3 can be Oranges etc.

Additional items/prices between are chosen by entering a PLU number, or you can simply type in the Price per Kg.
