Product Information


The Sam4s NR-520F is one of the latest in the NR-500 series of cash registers designed for cafe, restaurant and bar use as well as other businesses where items / services are sold from a menu / price list such as salons, either at fixed prices and/or open prices.

The NR-520F has both a receipt printer to print customer receipts and an internal journal copy printer.

We provide a FREE keyboard template in either Microsoft Word or Excel format, so you can produce your own keyboard sheet with the button names & colours, which you can then print on a colour A4 printer.

PROGRAMMABLE KEYBOARD
It has 60 programmable menu keys on the splashproof keyboard for your food and drink items and table management functions, or your retail items / services.

A further 14 functions keys can be re-assigned as required for the functions you wish to use (eg. discounts, payment methods).

OPERATOR DISPLAY & REAR CUSTOMER DISPLAY
A multi-line operator display makes it easy to use and see multiple items on the bill, with size of 192 x 64 using a graphic blue backlit LCD. It also a rear popup customer display to show the item prices as registered and the total to pay.

FAST THERMAL DUAL PRINTER
The NRF20F has 2 fast 58mm-width thermal printers. The receipt printer is for printing table bills, customer receipts and reports. The receipt can be customised with your business details at the top, and additional message at the bottom. Thermal printing is fast and silent - and no ink cartridge is required. The journal printer winds on an internal roll and keeps an audit record of all till transactions and activity.

An additional external printer can also be connected for printing kitchen tickets - see below.

CASH DRAWER
A robust full size cash drawer is integrated, with 8 coin sections and 4 banknote sections. It has slots a the front for slips/receipts to be inserted without having to open the drawer. An overriding key lock allows the cash drawer to be secured when not in use.

MEMORY CARD
An SD Card slot allows your program and data to be backed up onto an external memory card. This can also be used to transfer program settings to multiple tills.

EXTERNAL PORTS
The NR520F has a Serial port for connection of a peripheral. This can be an external Kitchen Ticket printer, a barcode scanner, connection to a PC or an external Pole Display. If you use the optional external Kitchen Printer, preparation tickets can be automatically printed for selected menu items.

The machine also has a USB port (for PC connection, memory card or barcode scanner) and an Ethernet port (for PC connection or kitchen printer).

Access to modes is controlled by the 5 metal keys supplied with the drawer: Reg, Z, VD, P, C.
