The HPRT KP806 is a specialist kitchen printer with a top cover to protect against water and oil, and the interface ports also have protective connections. USB & Ethernet (wired RJ45) interfaces as standard, UK power supply included.
Although the KP806 is not an impact (dot-matrix) type of printer like most other kitchen printers, but uses a thermal print head to print onto thermal paper rolls, it still provides a number of features useful for kitchen ticket printing and has the benefit of both USB & Ethernet interface. The KP806 cannot print onto 2-ply or 3-ply paper, but you may be able to set your POS software to print multiple separate copies.
The design ensures durability and is aimed to provide you with years of trouble-free usage, regardless of splashes and spills which could otherwise damage a kitchen printer.
The KP806 Plus also has a built-in buzzer to alert the kitchen staff to new printed tickets, and a flashing LED appears until the ticket is lifted off the printer. An auto-cutter is included.
