Combining accurate weighing, a large touchscreen interface, and high-resolution 300 dpi label and receipt printing, it allows customers to weigh and label products independently.

The SM-5300 SSP X features a 12.1-inch TFT SVGA touchscreen with 800 x 600 resolution. Designed specifically for self-service operation, the display provides customers with a clear interface for selecting products, weighing items, and producing labels without the need for a conventional physical keypad.

The self-service configuration does not use a separate customer display. Instead, the 12.1-inch touchscreen acts as the primary customer-facing interface, helping provide a straightforward and efficient self-weighing experience.

The integrated printer provides professional 300 dpi label and receipt printing at speeds of up to 150mm per second, subject to the thermal media used. Standard liner media is supported, while a linerless printer with automatic cutter is available as a factory-fitted option.

Optional linerless printing eliminates backing paper and supports flexible label lengths, helping reduce waste and improve media efficiency. Standard liner rolls support diameters up to 125mm, while the optional linerless configuration supports roll diameters up to 95mm.

For retail system integration, the SM-5300 SSP X provides Ethernet 10/100 Base-T, four USB 2.0 ports, and one RJ11 interface. Optional wireless networking and additional DIGI retail technologies can further extend the scale for advanced self-service applications.
