Secure POS Integration

The Safescan HD-4617C is equipped with an industry-standard RJ-12 connection and operates at 12V, allowing it to integrate with compatible cash registers, POS systems and receipt printers.

The cash drawer can be opened electronically through a compatible POS system or manually with the supplied key. An integrated microswitch allows compatible systems to detect whether the drawer is open or closed.

Removable Tray & Optional Lockable Lid

The complete inner tray can be removed from the cash drawer for convenient shift changes, cash reconciliation and secure transport.

An optional Safescan 4617CL lockable lid is available separately, allowing the removed tray and its contents to be secured during staff changes or transportation.

Compatible with Safescan Money Counting Scales

The removable tray and coin cups can be used with compatible Safescan money counting scales such as the Safescan 6165 and 6175 to speed up end-of-day cash counting.

Individual removable coin cups can be placed directly onto a compatible scale after the required one-time cup calibration, helping reduce the amount of manual handling needed during cash-up.
