The Brecknell C3236 Check Weighing Scale (updated model from C3235) is our most popular stand-alone washdown scale that lets you verify the weight of each item - either below, within range, or over.
The newer C3236 has a longer battery life, larger pan size and more accurate readability than the previous C3235.
It is ideal for warehouse/factory based food producers who prepare/pack, import and/or distribute their own products to sell to retail shops and supermarkets. It is suitable where all items are the same net weight, such as pre-packed jars, packs, biscuits, nuts and other food items and sold at a fixed price.
The checkweight scale helps you ensure each of your products is within the required weight range.

The C3236 washdown checkweigher is portable with an internal re-chargeable battery gives approximately 62 hours of usage between charges or can be operated direct from mains power supply. C3236 has an auto off feature, which can be disabled, to switch the scale off after 10 minutes of inactivity. A battery charge indicator is built in to the display giving an instant check on the condition of the battery, the scale also displays battery low when recharging is required.
The C3236 is scale built to work in harsh, wet environments such as portion control, food processing, meat preparation areas, catering kitchens, etc. Washable and corrosion free.
The C3236 has a 255 mm x 190 mm (10" x 7.5" approx) platform and a bright red LED display with 13 mm (0.5") high digits.
Simple to operate the keyboard has four buttons – Off, On/Zero, Tare and Function. The Function key gives access to the checkweigher set up for targets and tolerances, unit switching and count modes.
With the Tare feature you can deduct the weight of the empty container to give you an accurate net product weight.
An audible buzzer is included which sounds when the weight is within the accept range – this can be switched off if required.
