From global brands and government premises to independent shops and restaurants, TecStore installs systems for businesses and organisations of every size throughout the UK and internationally. Here are some of our recent installations, each supplied, configured and supported by our team, working directly with end-users or alongside our site contracted refurbishment partners.
TecStore supplied its advanced Q-Next Pro queue management system covering 20 service counters for Manchester City Football Club's new flagship 3-storey Puma store that opens in November 2026. Large 32" and 50" displays show each counter's status and call the next customer to the free counter, keeping queues moving and the shop floor organised during busy periods.
From initial system specification, production of the installation plan for power cabling, data cabling, wireless networking and equipment mounting, set up of graphics and audio announcements, to co-ordinating on-site installation and testing, training of system management staff, and creation of customised end-user and technical documentation, TecStore completed this whole project from start to finish over a period of 3 months.
SaveWise off-licence and convenience store in Harrow-on-the-Hill town centre is now using TecStore's popular SAM4S Sapphire retail POS package, designed for small retail shops. The system was set up and ready to use within one day, so the store could start trading with it straight away. A full-featured, affordable POS system solution with no ongoing licence or subscription fees.
With hundreds of lines from groceries, vapes and drinks to household goods, fast barcode scanning, accurate stock and pricing, and quick checkouts make a real difference to a busy town centre store, for staff and customers alike.
The system prints shelf edge labels, allows key-entry of prices for non-barcoded items, and supports discounts, mix & match offers and multi-buy promotions.
Vesuvio, an Italian pizzeria in Inverness, Scotland, now takes orders through TecStore's SAM4S Self-Service Kiosk alongside the SAM4S SamTouch counter POS terminal. Customers choose Eat-In or Take-Away, browse the menu with pictures and prices, choose any pizza and pasta customisation options, order at their own pace, pay by card, and the order ticket instantly prints in the kitchen. Order Numbers are then displayed on the Order Collection Display screen and designated as 'Preparing' or 'Ready'.
The new kiosk frees up staff at busy times and allows the business to operate at lower costs with greater efficiency. It shows that self-service works just as well for small independent restaurants as it does for large chains.
With the cloud-based back office, the owner and manager can track sales transactions and activate/de-activate products if ingredients run out during the shift, as well as update the promotional graphics and offers.
TecStore's self-service kiosks work with Dojo and Teya card payment terminals.
During non-use, the kiosk doubles as digital signage scrolling through various promotional graphics of Vesuvio's products to entice people walking through the busy food court.
TecStore supplied the sophisticated Glory GFS-220 banknote counter and sorter to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park in Hampshire, superseding the former Glory Ntegra Compact machine.
Theme parks, attractions and other leisure venues handle large volumes of cash every day, from ticket offices and food outlets to gift shops and rides. The GFS-220 checks every banknote for authenticity against counterfeits, counts and sorts mixed notes by denomination, and batches them ready for banking. It can also face and orient a batch of notes all the same way. Takings are reconciled quickly and accurately, cutting cash-office time at the end of busy days and reducing the risk of fake notes or counting errors.
TecStore supplies Glory GFS-220 machines pre-loaded with currency templates for GBP, EUR and USD, including Scottish and Northern Ireland issue sterling banknotes, so they are ready to handle the mix of notes that visitors bring from across the UK and abroad.
The Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, home of the Harry Potter studio receives thousands of visitors each day. TecStore supplied and set up a 9-counter queue management system for installation in the multi-storey car park which has over 2400 parking spaces.
A large commercial-grade screen display, designed for 24/7 operation, with 20W audio in the waiting area calls and guidess each visitor to the next free counter, while compact branded 10" displays customised with the WB branding are fitted above each service window to show the counter number, so visitors always know where to go.
The Consulate of Spain's new building in Battersea, London, will run TecStore's 18-counter queue management system. It issues sequentially numbered tickets for up to 12 different consular services. Staff call each visitor from a counter tablet by service type, such as passport applications, giving a calmer waiting area and a smoother experience for staff and the public. A statistics app allows management to live monitor service queues and generate performance statistics.
Security is a prime consideration for diplomatic missions. Bullet-proof glass and steel-reinforced partitions do not facilitate WiFi signal communication so for this installation a stand-alone wired Ethernet network with dedicated router and switch was fitted to operate totally separate from the Consulate's secure internal systems. In addition, an external amplifier and flush-fit ceiling speakers were connected so the QMS system's voice announcements cover the large area of the Consulate.
On busy days, several hundred visitors per day are processed so a reliable, efficient queue management system provides essential support to the Consul General and her teams.
The Egypt Consulate UK in London now has two queue management systems from TecStore, one on each of its two public floors. Each security desk in reception has its own digital ticket dispensing machine, and the waiting areas have a large display calling visitors to the next free service counter, so every floor runs its own queue in good order.
A management app installed on the PC of the Consul General provides a real-time overview of visitors checked-in at the Consulate and statistics on the various services, visitors processed and average processing times at each counter.
TecStore has supplied Oxhoo POS hardware to The National Tramway Museum at Crich Tramway Village, near Matlock in Derbyshire for use with their own POS software. The multi package supply included Oxhoo touchscreen terminals, cash drawers and receipt printers.
Visitor attractions need reliable, easy-to-use equipment at admissions, shops and cafes, where staff serve a steady flow of visitors through the day and peak times can be busy.
SwiftMeds, a chain of three pharmacy stores in Burnham (Slough), Reading and Chertsey, now runs all of its branches on a customised version of our SAM4S Sapphire Retail POS System, tailored by TecStore to suit the way a pharmacy works with NHS and private prescription charges, service fees for vaccinations, tests and other services.
The cloud-based SamTouchOffice management system allows live monitoring of sales at each branch from the head office, and the ability to make additions/changes to the product database easily from the central location for automatic updates to the branches. Staff time keeping allows accurate tracking of working hours for wages calculations. Daily reports are emailed automatically to relevant people on schedule, as well as weekly and monthly management and accounting reports
With thousands of health, beauty and over-the-counter lines, fast barcode scanning and accurate pricing keep the counter moving, while the same system across every store gives consistent pricing and service from branch to branch.
Powell’s Fruit Merchants, a busy grocery and fruit & veg store in Sedbergh, Cumbria, now trades on our SAM4S Sapphire Supermarket EPOS system, with two terminals each fitted with integrated weighing scales and Dojo card payment terminals.
Loose produce is weighed and priced directly at the till, so there's no separate scale to read or price to key in. Retail items are easily scanned on the omni-directional 1D/2D barcode scanners. Checkouts are faster and more accurate, and with two tills running, queues keep moving even at the busiest times.
Lal Qela, a popular 70-seat South Asian restaurant in Birmingham, is now running TecStore's restaurant POS system with waiter tablets and 2 POS terminals. Staff take orders at the table and send them straight to the kitchen, where dedicated workstation printers print off the order details so there are no trips back to the till and fewer order mistakes. Telephone orders are quickly and easily taken at the POS terminals.
Table bills are easy to manage and split, and the owners get clear sales reporting, helping the restaurant run smoothly through busy service times.
Khan Brothers butchers in Forest Gate, East London now trades on a TecStore retail butcher POS system with 2 label printing weighing scales.
Label printing scales print barcoded price labels for pre-packed meat and over the counter sales, which are scanned at the till for fast, accurate checkouts, keeping the counter moving when the shop is busy. The CAS CN1 scales support discounted price levels allowing for automatic promotional pricing to be applied on quantity purchases.
TecStore supplied its LED Queue Management System for 5 counters at the High Commission of India in London. Complete with main display, ticket dispenser and voice announcement module, the system allows visitors to be efficiently managed while queuing for various consular services.
