Annual Subscription for live connection to the UK Royal Mail Postal Address Database for automated lookup of address information.
This module is ideal for Takeaway / Delivery businesses that take telephone orders. For new customers, simply type in the postcode of the customer and the POS software will provide a pop-up window showing a list of door numbers/ houses / buildings to choose from, and then automatically store those details with the customer record.
The annual subscription covers one postal region and is automatically updated with any new addresses and changes. eg. "B" is a region and covers all Birmingham and surrounding postcodes. "LS" is a region and would cover all postcodes that begin LS such as LS1, LS2, LS3 and so on. "E" would cover all East London postal areas.
If your delivery area covers more than one region, than additional regions are charged at £25 each. See options above.
All selected addresses are permanently stored with the customer record so are not affected if you don't renew the postcode lookup subscription in further years.
Notes:
A separate subscription is required for each terminal on a network if you have multiple POS terminals.
This lookup service requires an internet connection for your POS terminal.
Your Internet Router must have a Static IP Address - please check with your internet service provider.
