Product Information


Cl-Works v 2.96.10 (updated Sep 2016), UK version. Compatible with Windows 10.

Suitable for CAS LP1 (LP 1.5 / LP 1.7 / LP-1000N/P)

Program is available as a download / email. Setup Instructions and User Manual (95 pages) are provided as a PDF file. You will require the original or compatible RS232 Serial Data cable.

Price quoted is for program download only and 7 days technical support for specific queries related to set up. If you require usage training or extended 1 year support then this can be purchased separately - see Options above.

CL-Works is a Windows-based program that allows the CAS scale to be easily and quickly programmed. Using on-screen menus and screens on your computer or laptop you can add and amend PLU descriptions and prices. Depending on the features of your scale model you can also manage ingredients text, allergens, traceability details such as country of origin, slaughter house, country of breeding etc, other label content and store information, you can define Groups/Departments and other scale data, as well as set up and print the keyboard sheet.

With CL-Works you can:
* Program your product details and prices
* Define ingredients and allergy instructions
* Set up and customise your own label formats
* Add logos and other graphics
* Import PLU lists from Excel or ASCII files
* Define different departments and product groups
* Produce sales reports
* Design and print the Keyboard Sheet for the preset keys.
* Update prices quickly and easily as and when required (even daily)

CAS LP1 Data Cable:
For the CAS LP1 scale you will require a 9-pin male RS232 serial port on your PC. The optional RS232 cable is despatched by post (additional postage cost may apply for non-UK mainland orders). We will only provide technical support on connectivity where the RS232 Serial cable has been purchased from us.

If your Windows computer does not have a 9-pin RS232 Serial port, you may be able to use your own optional Serial-USB adapter. Note: A Serial-USB adapter may not function on some Microsoft Windows versions or modes. We recommend wherever possible you use a computer with a 9-pin RS232 serial port built in. We do not provide technical support on 3rd-party adapters. No refund is available on the software if you do not have a working 9-pin RS232 Serial port on your computer and you cannot make your 3rd-party USB adapter work.

The program will only work on original Microsoft Windows, it will not operate on Apple Mac using emulators or other such tools. You will require Administrator level access on your Windows PC / laptop to install the program. If you are using Windows 10 in S Mode you will need to switch off S mode for the CL Works program to be installed.
