We supply the Glory GFS-220 in 2 configurations:

1. STANDARD UK SPECIFICATION The GFS220 supports all UK polymer notes including the new £5, £10, £20 and £50 polymer banknotes and all current issue Euros and US Dollars. Notes can be counted per denomination or mixed within the same currency with display of an overall total and denomination breakdown. The UK specification Glory GFS220 machine from TecStore is factory pre-configured with software templates for GBP, Euros and US Dollars. You can optionally add Scottish (SPS) and N.Ireland (IPS) issue banknotes - see Options above. For Scottish notes, three banks are authorised to issue banknotes in Scotland: Bank of Scotland plc Clydesdale Bank plc The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. For N.Ireland notes, three banks are authorised to issue banknotes in Northern Ireland: Bank of Ireland (UK) plc Northern Bank Limited (trades as Danske Bank) National Westminster Bank plc (trades as Ulster Bank in Northern Ireland) All 6 of the above banknote templates for all 4 denominations will be pre-loaded on the GFS220 machine by TecStore in addition to Bank of England sterling notes when you choose the SPS + IPS option. 2. INTERNATIONAL SPECIFICATION Our standard configuration supports GBP, EUR and USD. Upto 37 additional currencies can be factory pre-configured with their respective software templates installed on the GFS220 for use at the same time, at an additional cost per currency. The machine operates electrically at 100-240v 50-60Hz 1.5A so is readily suitable for use in all countries with universal power systems, although you may just need to use a plug adapter at the end of the power cable. Software templates are available for many of the major African, Asian (including Indian Rupees) and Middle Eastern currencies -see full list below. Non-supported currencies can be still be counted in piece-count mode without counterfeit detection. SECURITY CHECKS
The Glory GFS220 has high-performance sensors and utilises advanced detection technology. Counterfeit checks include Infra Red (IR), Ultraviolet (UV), Flourescence (FL), Magnetic (MG), Size/Thickness Detection and Dual CIS (Contact Image Sensor). High resolution imaging sensors scan both sides of banknotes, ideal for reliably detecting counterfeit and composite banknotes.

The multi-pocket design allows counts to proceed continuously, with rejected notes placed into the reject pocket while the machine continues counting.

Piece counting simply counts the quantity of banknotes. Value counting counts the monetary value of the banknotes - giving separate subtotals for each denomination.

Authentication performs the full set of counterfeit checks on the notes.

Facing & Orientation turns all the notes the same way up and the same side round, giving you a neat, tidy banknote bundle.

Where you have large volumes of cash the Batch & Add functions allow count results to be accumulated.

The GFS-220F Fitness model for bank use has additional modes related to quality analysis and fitness sorting of banknotes for compliance purposes.

Optional modules can be purchased at the time of order for Auto Mixed Currency Counting (allows multiple currencies and denominations to be counted simultaneously), Ticket counting (with casino barcode option), Cheque counting and Serial Number Logging (OCR scan).

SERIAL NUMBER READING (Optional Module)
The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) image capture technology allows the GFS-220 to read and record the banknote serial numbers, which allows you to generate comprehensive and historical report of processed banknotes in both text and image format to improve security and accountability of each transaction. Data is extracted into CSV / Microsoft Excel format, which can be saved onto a USB memory stick. The machine is widely used in police law enforcement environments to count and log confiscated banknotes with their serial numbers.


FITNESS CHECKING (Optional Enhanced Model)
The enhanced model of the GFS-220 also provides banknote fitness checking to help banks formally comply with banknote quality compliance requirements. This model is popular with ATM operators, cash distribution centres and central banks who collect and re-distribute banknotes - it allows damaged or poor quality banknotes to be filtered out of circulation.

The Fitness model has features which helps determine whether notes are fit to be recirculated. The criteria for dispensing by human and automated tellers may vary. They can include:
• Soiling – surface dirt that increases optical density
• Staining – localised accumulation of surface dirt and ink
• De-inking – printing damaged by washing or general wear
• Tears – damage extending from the edge of a note
• Holes – damage in an area away from the edge of a note
• Tape – the presence of self-adhesive tape used to repair a torn note
• Folding – sharp creases in a note
• Folded corners – corner of a note turned over
• Missing corners – corner of a note torn or cut off.
