Product Information

The Sharp XE-A217 is one of the latest hospitality tills with a multi-line operator display. Available in white or black casing colour. It supersedes the previous Sharp XE-A213 model. It is a very popular machine for use in bars, cafes and small restaurants due to simplicity of set up and ease of use, together with a solid durable construction.

Machines with pre-set keys are also suitable for other businesses where items / services are sold from a menu / price list such as beauty salons. Pre-set keys can have a fixed price or open price.

We provide a FREE keyboard template in either Microsoft Word or Excel format, so you can produce your own keyboard sheet with the button names & colours, which you can then print on a colour A4 printer.

PRESET MENU ITEMS
70 preset price keys (with 3 shift levels providing upto 210 hot-keys).

SHIFT LEVELS
The shift levels are useful if you have multiple price levels such as bar prices, function prices, member prices and so on. It can also be used for sizes such as Small / Large, Pint / Half Pint, Adult / Child and so on. The shift level can be selected per item, transaction, or fixed until changed.

ELECTRONIC JOURNAL
An electronic journal on the machine holds upto 9000 lines, which provides a useful security audit for you to review all activity on the till.

FAST THERMAL PRINTER
The till has a very fast, easy-load thermal printer. It uses thermal 57 x 57mm till rolls.

HIGH CAPACITY CASH DRAWER
A sturdy full size cash drawer provides 5 note compartments and 8 coin compartments. A manual key allows the drawer to be securely locked in between shifts.

CUSTOMER DISPLAY
A rear pop-up customer display allows the customer to see the item prices and total as you register sales.

MEMORY CARD
The Sharp XE-A217 support a SDHC memory card to be inserted for backing up your programs and data.

TABLE/TABS BILL TRACKING
GLU (Guest Look Up) allows bills to be stored for tabs, tables, hotel rooms, function rooms and so on. You can start a new GLU, add to an existing bill, print a bill and finalise a bill and these are shared across all clerks.

Note:
1. The XE-A217 does not support "Overlapping Clerks". This means each transaction by a clerk would need to be completed (or stored to a tab/table) before another clerk can login.
