With the optional Customer Database and Loyalty Points module added to your system, you can maintain a customer database that has multiple uses.
* Membership Database (with Expiry date) for record keeping
* Loyalty Scheme for different price levels or different discount rates
* Loyalty Points Accumulation by total spend for each transaction
* Loyalty Points Accumulation by points for different products
* Operate a pre-paid Cashless System (ideal for schools / canteens)
For example, if you are a members club, you may set up 2 different pricing tariffs so members pay a different price to non-members.
If you are a retail shop or hospitality outlet, your customers can accumulate loyalty rewards to redeem against future purchases. These can either be by spend (eg. 100 points for every £10 spent) or it can be by product (eg. 10 points for a cheesburger, 5 points for a milkshake). You may define the value of points, eg 100 points = £1, and the value is then available to redeem against further transactions by the same customer.
Your customers can be identified either by you key entering their unique customer number, searching for their name/address or postcode, or more effectively by using a plastic Loyalty Card that either has a barcode or magstripe. Plastic cards are available separately in packs of 500 or 2000, pre-printed with your design/logo and sequentially encoded.
