CV22 is a comprehensive cash register PC programming utility that allows speedy and efficient setup of compatible Casio cash registers / tills, facilitates stock management and products various sales and stock reports.

The CV22 program from Casio Computer Co and sold by TecStore is available as a download. The optional RS232 Serial Data Cable is despatched by tracked post - UK & Worldwide delivery.

Depending on your Casio till model, the PC utility allows quick set up of PLU / Product data, Mix & Match offers, Scanning PLU's / barcodes, printing of shelf edge labels, set up of tax / vat rates, clerks, upload of graphical logo, printing of key sheets, and various other till parameters.





The Casio CV-22 pack is supplied with the Windows application software, 3 PDF instruction books (User Manual, Security Levels Manual and Stock Management Manual) and the optional Casio rs232 serial data cable. You will require a 9-pin male RS232 serial port on your PC. Newer computers may not have a 9-pin serial port so you may be able to use a USB-to-Serial adapter, but see the Note 1 below.


CASH REGISTER COMPATIBILITY

The CV22 program is compatible with the following Casio cash register models:

Casio TE Series: TE-2200, TE-2400, TE-2200 USA, TE-2400 USA, TE-3000S TE-4000F, TE-4500F

Casio CE Series: CE-6000, CE-6100, CE-7000, CE-T300

Casio TK Series: TK-T500, TK-3200, TK-6000, TK-6500, TK-7000, TK-7500

Casio QT Series: QT-2000


SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

We will send you a link to download a Zip file and the manuals following your purchase.

1. Extract the zip file to a new folder on your pc, noting the folder name.

2. From the extracted folder, run the 'Setup' app
press Next and following the prompts as necessary, and pressing 'Finish' at the end

3. From your newly created folder (eg. c:\cv22), run the CV22 app
(When the program first starts, the buttons will be grayed out)

4. Click on File, Setup, Lock/Unlock
In the password box, enter the password (as provided on our download page) for full access
(Do not enter anything in the 'New Password' box)
The other menus will now be enabled.

5. Click on File, Setup, Customers




a) enter the required text description for the Customer/Shop name and the Location/Branch name
b) select your cash register model under ECR
c) select an IPL
Press Save to finish

The initial program is now ready for use.

Select the 'ECR Setup' tab on the same screen to define your com port parameters (eg. COM1, baud rate 19200), and then press 'Receive' to read all the initial program settings and data from the till.

Please Note:

1. The program is designed to connect to your Casio till via a 9-pin RS232 serial (COM) port). If you choose to use a USB-to-RS232-Serial adapter with our cable you will need to contact the manufacturer of the USB adapter for any related technical support, as you may require device drivers particular to your Windows version to be able to create a virtual com port. We do not provide technical support on 3rd-party adapters.

2. Programming utilities are designed for dealers and technically competent end-users already familiar with them. We do not provide free user support or training on these utility programs - please purchase our technical support services if required.

3. You cannot just use any serial cable with this utility, the cable will need to have the correct internal pin configuration for it to work. There are different types of serial cable such as Null Modem, Crossover, Two Wire, Serial Printer cable. Using the incorrect cable may even electrically damage your till or computer. We recommend you include our specially made Casio RS232 Serial data cable with your program purchase to guarantee compatibility.

4. Shipping of the data cable is free in the UK Mainland only. Additional delivery charges will apply for addresses outside UK Mainland.

5. The program is supplied to install and operate in English only.

6. Please ensure your till model is compatible with the CV22 program and version (see above) and that you have the required 9-pin RS232 Serial Port on your computer. Once you order and we send you the download link, we cannot provide any refund thereafter on software as stated in our Terms.
