Product Information

The Sam4s ER-230 is a portable battery-powered till providing upto 8 hours use on a full battery charge. It is very popular for mobile use at events, kiosks, market stalls, book fairs, car boot sales, mobile catering vans, festivals and other remote or outdoor applications where mains power is not available.

The ER-230 portable cash register has an integrated operator display, a rear customer display, an integrated receipt/report printer, and a robust keypad.

It can be used as a portable hand-held unit (measures only 22.5 x 32.5cm), or can be placed on a counter, with or without the optional cash drawer.

MAINS OR BATTERY POWER
The ER-230 portable till can also be operated by mains power supply, and connected to an optional cash drawer for counter-top use. A mains power supply with 3-pin plug is included as standard. This is ideal in kiosks and other small outlets where space is limited. When connected to the mains power, the internal battery is automatically re-charged.

OPTIONAL EXTERNAL POWER PACK
The internal battery provides upto 8 hours of operation on a full charge. For longer shifts beyond 8 hours, or for mobile use of the optional scanner or kitchen printer, you can optionally add a further 12-24 hours of portable use with one of our Portable Power Packs - see Options above for pricing. The Portable Power Pack is a rechargeable small external unit that provides you with a mobile 3-pin power socket that can be switched to AC or DC mode, an LED light, and also includes 2 USB ports for charging your smartphone/tablet. Choose either the 150 watt hour model or 200 watt hour model.

ONE-TOUCH KEYS FOR YOUR POPULAR ITEMS
It has 12 Departments to allow you to analyse your sales, and provides full X and Z reports. Or the 12 Departments keys can be used for programming the price and description of your most popular products for fast one-touch sales - ideal for events, mobile bars and sample sales.

TILL FUNCTIONS
In addition to standard sale items you can void mistakes, issue refunds, manage upto 3 payment methods (Cash, Card, Cheque), and apply discount amount or percentage.

RECEIPT PRINTING
A fast 57-mm width thermal receipt printer is integrated into the till. The ER-230 can include your business name/address and other details on the receipt. Receipt printing can be operated in Paper Saving Mode so receipts are only printed when required.

X & Z REPORTS
The end of day reports provide total sales with breakdown by product group and payment method, with number of sales and average sale value. If vat rates have been setup, then vat totals will also be reported.

Note: The optional Barcode Scanner and Kitchen Printer would require the till to be mains powered or connected to the optional Portable Power Pack - these accessories wont work off the internal battery alone. The Cash Drawer can operate from either internal battery or mains power mode.

Programming - with our Programming Service we can pre-configure the till with your business name/address details on the receipt, set up your departments (product groups), vat rates and operator names.

Remote Training - personal tutorial by telephone covering till set up and operation. Choose either a 30-minute or 1 hour session.
